My name is Jolynn Ulibarri, the owner and operator of Peace Pets (Exotic Rescue and Sanctuary) in Santa Fe NM. I am a certified groomer, AKC trainer, registered veterinary assistant, and a holistic companion animal therapist. My life and education has revolved around animals for the last 20 years.
At an early age, I began volunteering in shelters. This experience drove me to aspire to do greater things for animals. While working, I went to school and received my certifications and degrees. I then went on and taught at Montclair State University and worked as an Educator at the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo an AZA accredited zoo.
I have provided sanctuary to hundreds of animals over the years while sharing them academically with the community. As of 2018, I am proud to say Peace Pets has for five years partnered with the Santa Fe public libraries and the Museum of International Folk Art in conservation presentations. Santa Fe public schools has for the past six years also allowed Peace Pets to expand their students’ horizons. My greatest desire is to enable pet parents with the highest quality of holistic modalities for their companion animals. When your pet is in my care they will be respected like family.
